As may have been noticed, I haven’t posted here since November ended even though NaNoWriMo is done. By the way, I won! 😀
Anyways, I’ve been feeling rather ambivalent towards Elena’s challenge. Not only that, but I’ve had homework, been watching TV, and I’ve started yet another new legacy – which is only a game right now, but I’ve been thinking of using the pictures from it to make a story legacy. Also, I’ve been working on my dad’s Christmas present, which is very time-consuming. His has the most hours put into it of all my family’s presents this year, XD.
Finals are ocming up for me, then I have winter break. But I’m just not sure if I want to do the challenge on top of playing my legacy. I’ve really, really been wanting to experiment with Supernatural which I just don’t have the freedom to do when I also have to churn out kids for Elena. With the new game-only legacy I’ve been playing, not only do I get to play with Supernatural abilities (which are quite amusing, lol), but I’ve been able to have a horse birth, which I’d never done before! It’s been so much fun just to relax and not worry about making a ton of kids. Not to say that there’s no kids in the game, as it is a legacy, lol.
When I play Elena’s challenge, I’m honestly more interested in getting fun screenies and writing the commentary for them than I am in actually playing the game. I spend hours just thinking about what I’d like to have happen next rather than actually playing. So…yeah, I don’t know what I’m going to do with this. I’m too fond of Elena and some of her descendants to let go of them, but at the same time I don’t feel like this is the best and most fun way to play the Sims.
Maybe I’ll change my mind when winter break starts and my dad’s present is done. I’ve been known to do that, XD. So don’t take this as a definite ‘this challenge is over’, or a definite hiatus. It’s just a notice to let you know why I haven’t updated.
